Originally from Ukraine, I’ve spent 31 years in the United States, embracing the blending of cultures, experiences, and, above all, passion. My life journey has taken many twists and turns, from my early career in medicine to working in the oil and gas industry but it wasn’t until I met my Italian husband that I discovered my true calling — the art of authentic Italian cuisine. This discovery sparked a bold decision that would change my life forever: I decided to leave behind my medical career and dive headfirst into the world of food.

Through my husband, I was introduced to the deep flavors and timeless traditions of Italian cooking. Our travels through Italy were eye-opening. The food we experienced there was unlike anything I had tasted before — fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. I couldn’t help but wonder: what was the secret to this deliciousness? When I asked my husband why the food in Italy tasted so much better than what I was used to, his answer was simple but profound: “The products in Italy are free from GMOs. In fact, GMOs are forbidden here.” This revelation ignited a fire within me, and I knew it was time for a change. It was time to leave my job and open a pizzeria that would serve dishes made with high-quality, pure ingredients — just like the ones we experienced in Italy.

Our mission was clear: create a pizzeria that would offer food free from GMOs, made with traditional Italian recipes, and crafted with the freshest ingredients possible. We wanted to bring a taste of Italy to the United States, but with a commitment to quality that would set us apart. We began by sourcing authentic Italian products and incorporating recipes that traced their origins back to ancient Roman times. The result? A menu of simple, healthy, and incredibly flavorful dishes. For example, our pizza — made with love and care — can be refrigerated and reheated without losing its taste or texture. This isn’t just food; it’s an experience, built on quality and a touch of history.

Building the right team has been one of the most rewarding challenges. I quickly realized that hiring isn’t about asking endless questions in interviews. Instead, it’s about seeing how someone works in the kitchen — how they stretch dough, how they smile while cooking. That’s when I know I’ve found the right person. The joy in their work is contagious, and it’s this passion that fuels the heart of our restaurant.

Customer satisfaction is always at the forefront of our minds. We believe in offering not only great food but also exceptional service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our team serves with a genuine care for each guest, and it’s this attention to detail that makes every meal special. The old-school approach to dining — one where love, care, and attention make all the difference — is what we strive to bring to every table.

Our menu is constantly evolving, and we’re always experimenting with new ideas. Our top chef has some exciting new dishes in the works, and we can’t wait to surprise and delight our guests with what’s coming next. The response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive. Many have shared how long they’ve been waiting for a restaurant like ours to open, and that kind of support makes all the hard work worth it.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of my husband, my family, and our dedicated team. Our staff is made up of talented, hardworking individuals who share our vision, and I’m incredibly grateful to each one of them. We even make pizza in the shape of a heart! It’s become a popular request, and we’re always happy to rise to the challenge.
