Understand what blue alert is
A national notification of a police officer being injured in the line of duty. The alerts can be administered by broadcasting stations, such as television and radio.
As mentioned on the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services: “There are currently 37 states with Blue Alert plans. The COPS Office provides resources and technical assistance to states, territories, law enforcement agencies, and tribes seeking to establish or enhance Blue Alert plans; including, voluntary activation guidelines, examples of legislation, policies, and forms gathered from around the nation in a central Blue Alert data repository.”

SUSPECT CAPTURED

Thursday’s scene began unfolding at a home in the 11500 block of Silhouette Ridge in the Sunset Ridge West neighborhood. Sources told ABC13 that the officers who were shot were walking up to the house, where a woman was walking out with two children. The officers asked the woman if Terran was in the home, to which she said yes. The deputies were trying to get into the home when they were shot at. Source

One man in custody James Green. One man is at large, The alert was set for Terran Green. he allegedly shot a deputy and took off in a blue Ford SUV, which was found near 45 North.
